Each month brings its own magic. Here’s what to expect:

• Rainbow trout and Dolly Varden open June 11
• King salmon fishing closed on Kenai River in 2025

✅ June
• Sockeye salmon begin mid-month
• Trout season officially starts
→ ADF&G Sport Fishing Regs – Southcentral
✅ July
• Peak sockeye season
• First silver salmon show up late month
• Great time for big trout too
→ Book a Full Day Trip for max success.
✅ August
• Silver salmon are hot
• Pink salmon in even years
• Trout & Dolly Varden at peak
→ Drift a Kasilof River Trip for peaceful action
✅ September – October
• Silver salmon taper off
• Trophy trout and char fishing is best now
→ Consider a late-season 3/4 Day Trip to chase fat rainbows!
⚠️ Know the Rules Before You Fish
King salmon fishing is CLOSED on the Kenai in 2025 due to conservation efforts.
Other key rules:
• No bait until July 1 (check regs)
• Single hook required
• Drift-only sections on upper river
