Alaskan Fishing
Our Philosophy
Rooted in Alaska. Guided by Passion.
At Kenai Fishing, guiding isn’t just a job — it’s a calling. We do this because we love the rivers, the fish, and the people we meet along the way. The Kenai Peninsula is more than our home — it’s our heritage, our inspiration, and our responsibility.
We believe in the power of time spent on the water. It’s not just about catching fish (although we do plenty of that). It’s about slowing down, connecting with nature, and creating moments that stay with you long after the last cast.

✅ Born from Passion
We grew up fishing these rivers with our family. Now we share that tradition with you — one trip at a time.
✅ For the Stories, Not Just the Limits
Every day on the water tells a different story. We guide for the laughs, the learning, and the shared excitement of netting your first (or fiftieth) fish.
✅ Teaching the Next Generation
We love introducing new anglers to the sport — especially kids and families. A day on the river can spark a lifelong love for the outdoors.
✅ Because It Matters
We believe these wild places are worth protecting. That’s why we guide responsibly, fish sustainably, and always leave the river better than we found it.
Respect for the River
“You don’t truly guide unless you respect the water you’re on. The Kenai and Kasilof rivers have given us so much — and it’s our duty to protect them. Clean water, healthy fish runs, and good ethics aren’t optional — they’re everything.”
We follow ethical fishing practices, support habitat preservation, and work with like-minded organizations to keep Alaska’s fisheries strong for generations to come.

It's About More Than Fishing
Conservation Is Part of the Trip
✅ Catch Limits That Make Sense
We follow all state regulations and educate guests about selective harvest and releasing wild fish safely.
✅ Sustainable Boat & Gear Use
Our gear and jet boats are maintained with minimal impact in mind — respecting spawning beds and sensitive shoreline.
✅ Support for Local Stewardship
We actively support conservation nonprofits and river clean-up efforts here on the Kenai.
Fish with Purpose
If you want more than a quick grab-and-go charter, you’re in the right place. We guide for the experience — the kind you’ll talk about for years.
Let’s fish, learn, laugh, and enjoy Alaska the way it was meant to be.
